Tustin Unified Holds Parent Information Night on Gaming, Social Media and Mental Wellness

The Tustin Unified School District’s Student Services Department is partnering with Hoag ASPIRE to host a parent information night on youth wellness and mental health.
“Gaming, Social Media and Mental Wellness” workshop for all parents, caregivers and staff will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 6 p.m. in the Beckman High School Performing Arts Center, 3588 Bryan Ave., Irvine.
Dr. Sina Safahieh, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, will discuss addiction to gaming and technology. He will review the signs for concern, differences between normal teen behaviors and potentially harmful ones, and what parents can do to help.
