Michelle Everitt Named Assistant Principal at Tustin High School

The Tustin Unified School District has appointed Michelle Everitt as an assistantprincipal at Tustin High School. She will take over for Ali del Castillo, who was named coordinator of secondary education in the Educational Services Department at the District Administration Center. Everitt will begin her new position on July 1.
Everitt has worked in public education for 17 years – the past 10 years in the Paramount Unified School District. She currently serves as a program specialist in special education curriculum in Paramount. Prior to that, she was a special day class teacher and department chair at Paramount High School. Everitt began her career as a middle school math and science teacher in the Corona-Norco Unified School District.
Everitt has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Michigan State University, and master’s degrees in educational administration and special education fromCalifornia State University, Fullerton.
“I’m honored and excited to become a member of the Tustin Tillers family, and look forward to meeting the school’s students, staff and parents,” Everitt said.
