Middle and High School Robotics League and Competitions
The TUSD Robotics League, created in partnership with the Tustin Public Schools Foundation, provides opportunities for middle and high school students to develop skills and interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), computer science and programming through a competitive robotics program. Students, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, build innovative robots and compete year-round in a variety of matches. The competitions prepare students to become future innovators with 95% of participants reporting an increased interest in STEM subject areas and pursuing STEM-related careers.
Building Teamwork and Problem-Solving Skills
Tustin Unified School District is home to 23 competitive VEX robotics teams for the 2015-2016 competition season with representation for each middle and high school. TUSD and TPSF will be hosting teams from around Southern California to compete in this year’s game, Nothing But Net.
